New maturing plant
We have opened our state-of-the-art curing plant, which marks a decisive step towards more efficient and environmentally friendly production. The heart of the system is a fiberceramic rotor, coated with a drying material, which uses hot water recovery for its regeneration. Chemical wheel technology represents a significant step forward in the precise control of humidity and temperature for our products. In fact, unlike traditional systems that use light and cooling materials such as freon (responsible for the greenhouse effect), our plant is distinguished by an innovative solution: We use a system that dehumidifies the air with hot water produced by a cogeneration plant. The use of this system allows us to significantly reduce water consumption, as it is reused. Secondly, we note a considerable saving of electricity given the hygroscopic salts used in the process, in fact these are wetted and dried with hot air, maintaining ideal temperature and humidity, with an energy impact reduced to a minimum. Finally, by eliminating the use of freon, we are helping to limit emissions which are harmful to the environment.
We want to reiterate our commitment to sustainable production, without ever losing sight of the quality that has made us an excellence in the sector.
